LUKE CAGE gets “Knocked the “F” Out”, in NEW TRALIER

A new trailer of the upcoming season 2 of “Luke Cage” has been released by Netflix. In this trailer Luke (Mike Colter), meets a strong villain who manages to knock him down. While he’s dealing with the aftermath of his identity revelation. Yes? Luke Cage “got Knocked the “F” out”. Luke Cage might be able to walk through fire and an onslaught of bullets, but even the nearly indestructible hero can fall victim to a fierce right hook delivered by an equally strong villain.

In a gritty new look at Season 2 of Marvel’s Luke Cage, Luke has finally embraced his status as Harlem’s protector and is enjoying the fame when he’s caught off-guard by a slick new figure who literally knocks him back to Earth, rendering him unconscious. Even worse, that less-than-stellar moment is captured on video and goes viral, leaving Luke publicly embarrassed.

Gabrielle Dennis and Mustafa Shakir

The dangerous man in the fancy suit who took down Luke is none another than John McIver (Mustafa Shakir). The criminal mastermind who will end up being Season 2′s villain. In the comics, he also goes by the name Bushmaster and has squared off against both Luke Cage and the Iron Fist. Possessing similar abilities to Luke when it comes to super strength and being impervious to bullets. It looks like our hoodie donning hero has finally met his match. Dennis, meanwhile, will play the role of Tilda Johnson. “who is a brilliant, holistic doctor with a complicated history in Harlem. As much as she tries to stay far from trouble, it seems to always find her.”

Luckily for Luke, he won’t be alone in this difficult fight. After her arm was cut off by Bakuto (Ramón Rodríguez) in Marvel’s The Defenders. Misty Knight (Simone Missick) is back on the streets with a shiny new bionic prosthetic! And while neither hero can agree on who’s the lead and who’s the sidekick. There’s one thing they can’t deny: they make a pretty good team.

Season 2 of “Luke Cage” will see the titular hero becoming “a celebrity on the streets of Harlem with a reputation as bulletproof as his skin” after clearing his name. “But being so visible has only increased his need to protect the community and find the limits of who he can and can’t save. With the rise of a formidable new foe, Luke is forced to confront the fine line that separates a hero from a villain.”

See how it all goes down when Season 2 of Luke Cage arrives Friday, June 22 on Netflix.
