The 2017 Justice League film has two more characters reprising their roles:
Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, and Connie Nielson as Queen Hippolyta. The news was listed in a new press kit sent out by Warner Bros. on Thursday, along with a new synopsis for the film.
“Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act. Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans. They stand against this newly awakened threat,” reads Warner Bros.’s description. “But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.” Eisenberg was last seen in Batman v Superman. Dawn of Justice in prison with his head shaved. Nielson will debut as Hippolyta in Wonder Woman, which comes out on June 2, 2017.
