DAVE BAUTISTA Comments On His Future With Marvel Cinematic Universe

Dave Bautista’s Drax died in Avengers: Infinity War (twice if you look closely), but that doesn’t mean he’s done with the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

“I got a lot of texts saying, ‘I can’t believe you’re dead, your character is dead,'”. “They were really like heartbroken and I was like ‘I’m gonna be in [Avengers 4]. I’m gonna be in Guardians 3.’ I don’t know how they’re bringing me back, yeah but somehow I’m going to make it because, as far as I know, I am going to be in Guardians 3, so I have to be back.”

Bautista confirms that he has filmed scenes for Avengers 4, but won’t say how his character is brought back.

“That’s the only reason I’m not so concerned about giving any spoilers or giving anything away that Marvel would be mad because I said before, before the film even came out, that I’ve already filmed three and four, so I hope they won’t be pissedd!” said the actor. “And if they are, I’m gonna get an earful. I don’t know how they’re gonna put this all together. I don’t know how its gonna pan out and how it’s all going to turn out.”

The as-yet-untitled Avengers 4 is scheduled to open in theaters May 3, 2019. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is expected to be released in 2020.
