Marvel just unleashed James Gunn’s newest entry in the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise
The trailer was just as glorious as you’d expect. A teaser trailer was released previously, though, containing a few snippets of footage and the song used in the first film “Hooked on a Feeling”. Many assumed it would again be the theme song, but the debut trailer actually features a different yet still as addicting tune. The song is “Fox on the Run” from the band Sweet, and it goes perfectly with all the chaotic action in the new footage.
Set to the backdrop of ‘Awesome Mixtape #2,’ Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 continues the team’s adventures as they traverse the outer reaches of the cosmos. The Guardians must fight to keep their newfound family together as they unravel the mysteries of Peter Quill’s true parentage. Old foes become new allies and fan-favorite characters from the classic comics will come to our heroes’ aid as the Marvel cinematic universe continues to expand.
